How to navigate?

The Damage and Reconstruction database contains two types of projects:

• Type I  : Projects resulting from damages directly caused by Israeli Forces

• Type II : Projects NOT directly resulting from Israeli Forces caused damages
                (Rehabilitation and reconstruction (infrastructure), repair and replacement (equipment), new projects)

The list below explains you how to get the information from the Damage and Reconstruction database:

• Infrastructure Project List: shows the list of estimated costs of projects by governorate. By clicking on a governorate you will get a breakdown view of all the projects by locality in that selected governorate. Further, by clicking on a locality project, you can get specific details and even photos, if available.

• Public Institutions: Group municipalities, local councils and Palestinian Authority institutions (PA)
  • Municipalities: shows a list of estimated cost of building projects and assets needed by municipalities and local councils by governorate. By clicking on a governorate you will get a breakdown view of needs by locality in that selected governorate.
  • PA Institutions: shows a list of estimated cost of building projects and assets needed by PA institution or by governorate. By clicking on a governorate or PA institution you will get a breakdown view of needs by locality or PA institution in that selected governorate or PA institution respectively.

  • Ready Reports

    • Per Type of Project: shows the distribution of estimated costs between Type I and Type II projects by governorate. By clicking on a governorate you will get a breakdown view by locality in that selected governorate.

    • Per sector: shows the distribution of estimated costs per sector (water, roads, sewage, etc...) by governorate. By clicking on a governorate you will get a breakdown view by locality in that selected governorate.

  • Dynamic Report generators

    • Project Report generator: you can build your own report by specifying your search criteria.

    • Sector Report Generator: build your own sector report by choosing the sectors you want to show in the report.

  • Maps Representation

    • You can get pre-prepared maps by sector or by distribution to have a geographical representation for the estimated costs of projects.
